Copper Mountain Technologies简介

Copper Mountain Technologies develops innovative RF test and measurement solutions for engineers worldwide. Our development and production teams create solutions that enable RF and Microwave engineers to extend their reach through access to lab-grade instruments at affordable prices.  Our world-class metrology and engineering resources work as an extension of your team. Copper Mountain Technologies is based in Indianapolis, IN, with sales offices in Singapore and Miami.

Copper Mountain Technologies provides vector network analyzers for thousands of clients in close to 100 countries around the world. Our VNAs include an RF measurement module and a software application that runs on an external PC laptop or tablet, and connects to the measurement hardware via USB interface. Users can take advantage of the latest operating systems, processing power, larger displays, and reliable performance of an external PC while realizing a lower total cost of ownership and simplified maintenance. The result is a faster, more effective test process that fits into the modern workspace.

Copper Mountain Technologies is an industry leader recognized by industry analyst Frost & Sullivan in 2015 with Global Leadership in Innovation Award and in 2017 with Frost & Sullivan Global USB VNA Product Leadership Award.

Frost & Sullivan

In 2017, Frost & Sullivan presented Copper Mountain Technologies with the 2017 Global Product Leadership Award, in recognition of the company’s product excellence in this first year that USB VNAs are a separate category of test & measurement instruments.

What is Frost & Sullivan?

Frost & Sullivan collaborates with clients to leverage visionary innovation that addresses global challenges and related growth opportunities. For more than 50 years, they have developed growth strategies for the global 1000, emerging businesses, the public sector, and the investment community. They work extensively in the RF Test and Measurement space.

Frost & Sullivan earlier presented Copper Mountain Technologies with the 2015 Global Competitive Strategy Innovation and Leadership Award for developing the first metrology-grade USB VNAs in the vector network analyzer category. VNAs are demanding instruments. Traditionally, they have a higher price point and larger physical size than other RF instruments (like signal generators and signal analyzers).  Frost & Sullivan noted these barriers clearly limit their use. Many customers need VNAs but don’t have access to the technology because of the cost and size constraints. Customers also require strong support from their VNA suppliers but often don’t receive it.

An innovator in the USB VNA market, Copper Mountain Technologies has introduced a range of solutions aligned with the growing customer requirements for less expensive, smaller, more portable, and higher performance VNAs. Frost & Sullivan concluded that Copper Mountain Technologies is well positioned with a strong and established USB VNA offering coupled with superior support, including customer service, software development, and product customization.

The Howland Company Inc. - Anechoic Chambers

The Howland Company was founded in 1975. In the early years, the company’s primary business was the design of microwave point-to-point communications systems. Customers included MCI, Indiana Bell, and Southern Pacific Communications, which is now Sprint. The advent of satellite communications and fiber optic cables has dramatically reduced the need for high density, long-haul point-to-point microwave transmission systems, but there are still many cases where point-to-point microwave links are the best choice.
